Machu Picchu

Located in the department of Cuzco, covering an area of 32 592 hectares, the Machu Picchu Historic Sanctuary protects unique species of flora and fauna, as well as featuring some breath-taking landscapes and preserving the archaeological sites to be found here. Much of the beauty and enchantment of Machu Picchu, Peru's premier tourist attraction, is due to its spectacular natural surroundings: the cloud forest region of this historic sanctuary.

The most important archaeological site of  South America and one of the main destinations of every travelers is Machu Pichu.
Located a 2500 meters  of altitude  between  a beatiful highlands landscape.

How get there A full-day excursion to Machu Picchu, the fabled Lost City of the Incas. The private train from Cuzco winds through the Sacred Valley along the scenic Urubamba river. Relax and enjoy the view, along with catered snacks and beverages, during a three-hour journey rated a top train ride in the world. Upon arrival at the ruins, the group will divide into small group to tour in the company of expert, bilingual guides who will give a comprehensive introduction. Participants will have time to explore on their own before a private buffet lunche on at a nearby restaurant.

The adventure way.
The Inca trailed formed an important communication and transportation link within the empire, connecting a large area including Cusco and Machu Picchu. Although steep in places, Inca engineers designed it for efficient travel with carefully constructed stone staircases and tunnels. The important archeological ruins we will visit in this adventure are Llactapata, Runkurakay, Phuyupatamarca, Winay Wayna and finally Inti Punco, all on the way to Machu Picchu.

 

The Inca Trail is one of the most visited places in PerĂº thank`s to the amaizing view of the Andes mountains and the tropical jungle, the unique experience of  the following  incas footateps and visiting as many ruins as you would never imagine.
