Kuelap
Situated in the cloud forest around the town of Chachapoyas in northern Peru's Amazonas Department, these sites are dominated by the mighty fortress of Kuelap, perched majestically on mountaintop cliffs overlooking the verdant Andean landscape. The Pre-Columbian Chachapoyas civilization, which was conquered by the Incas in the XV century, has left a landscape scattered with villages and burial sites which, until recently, had been largely overlooked by archaeologist. we continue studying the Kuelap complex what is completely full of wonderful rooms, temples, and much more.
