Tourists from North America, Canada, Australia and the European Union can visit the country without getting a visa. The number of days you are allowed to stay usually is 90 days but you can get an extension at immigration offices in any major city if you need more time.
Nature and Ecology are major priorities for us. Our Peruvian Amazon has been named one of the world's 10 "bio-diversity hot spots" with an unusually high number of species of flora and fauna. There are nine national parks, seven national reserves, three national and historical sanctuaries,whit all of them preserving the precious natural and cultural heritage for future generations.
Peruvian cuisine is among the most varied in the world. Not only does the country grow an incredibly variate of fruits and vegetables, also seafood is very traditionally and welcome, the Ceviche one of the most delicious dishes became in a national symbol. The Peruvian pisco (white grape Brandy) the most typical drink of the country is the Pisco Sour, and the Incas beer "Chicha" (Corn beverage).
